Graduate ESOL Endorsement Programs Note:   All Elementary, English and Special Education bachelor's and master's degree students graduating as of summer 2004 or later are required to complete the requirements for the ESOL endorsement. We have received permission from the Florida Department of Education for students who were officially admitted to graduate programs prior to Fall 2002 to elect to complete the ESOL endorsement requirements or graduate without the endorsement, even if graduation takes place as of summer 2004 or later.

SPECIAL NOTE FOR ALL PROGRAMS

As of fall 2004, if a student fulfills the late ESOL field experience requirement in FLE 4316/ESOL II (i.e., not in ESOL III), s/he must complete 60 hours. As of fall 2005, if a student is required to take ESOL III, s/he must complete the 60-hour ESOL late field experience in that course (i.e., ESOL III may not be taken during the final internship).
